The vintage Yuvraj Singh is back again with blistering 62 off 27 balls as Sun Risers Hyderabad raised above the Royal Challengers Bangalore on their home ground in the opening match of Indian Premier League 10th addition.
The match between IPL 10 winners and runner up seems to have gone one way thanks to half centuries from Yuvi and Moises Henriques which helped SRH to post a total of 207 their second highest total in IPL.
Sunrisers skipper David Warner tried to give a fiery start after loosing toss and batting first. He fell early but the team put up a high score. The RCB bowlers seems to have lost their way and ran out of ways with Yuvi blazing.
The absence of Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers has hurt RCB more as the team looked in no motivation mode. Chasing a massive total of 207 Royal Challengers kept on loosing wickets at regular intervals. Even though Chris Gayle started the innings with sixes that didn’t last long.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan was the star with ball picking up two crucial wickets. SRH pacers Ashish Nehra and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar picked two wickets each to ensure their victory.
The form struck by Yuvi at the very beginning of the tournament has sent signals to the oppositions and the IPL 10 kick started in a grand fashion.
